The Mosin 91/30 Rifle (Винтовка Мосина, Vintovka Mosina -the Rifle of Mosin) is the longest continuously serving firearm in history, at more than 120 years and counting.
The Russian “Mosina” was the workhorse of the Russian Imperial Army and subsequently the Red Army, so simple in function that it was easy for the mainly peasant conscript troops to use and maintain.
